The Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) program provides support, care coordination, case management and mentoring if your mental illness limits your every day life, social engagement and stops you from achieving your goals.
We offer this support in the Narrabri, Moree, and Walgett Shires. The program is open to people aged 16 years and over.
Focused on recovery, case workers can support you to:
- improve your relationships
- get involved in social activities and community groups
- use public transport
- keep house
- make and stick to a budget
- become, and stay healthy
- work on your personal skills
PHaMs is a holistic, non-clinical approach to overcoming obstacles and working toward a better quality of life. PHaMs teams are client centered and work on your strengths in a positive way to help you thrive.
The PHaMs program is an Australian Government funded initiative.
