Centacare NEWN is currently seeking Expressions of Interest for the position of Registered/Clinical Psychologist.

About the Role

Full and part time opportunities are available for registered Psychologists to join a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Working as part of our team you will be involved in the treatment and care of adult and child cases of various clinical presentations, including Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) individuals. Our referrals come through many pathways including but not limited to:

  • Medicare or ATAPS programs
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling\
  • General Counselling
  • School Counselling
  • NDIS Counselling

Other aspects of the role include:

  • Psychometric testing/reporting
  • Supervision Services
  • The presentation of education programs

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology
  • Eligible for provider status with Medicare
  • Full registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in the delivery of both individual and group counselling
  • A current working with children check

Disability Support Worker  

Tamworth - Part Time/Casual

Centacare NENW is currently seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide direct assistance for people who have functional limitation resulting from impairment, by helping them to live as independently as they can, overcome social isolation and increase their connections to the community, within a strengths based environment.

This position will be responsible for

  • Providing participants with opportunities, support & services that develop skills, confidence and connect to the community.
  • Providing a person centered approach enhancing the capacity of each participant

Essential Criteria

  • Availability to be part of a rotating 24 hour/7 day a week roster
  • A First Aid Certificate
  • A current driver’s license
